About A Ministry of The Open Heaven

A Ministry of the Open Heaven is a journal of thoughts from one man's walk with God. At various times during the past 30 years, he has served as a member of the church clean up crew, a song leader, a youth pastor, a pastor and a traveling evangelist. Currently, he is teaching weekly Bible studies in Hilo, Hawaii. 

The ministry operated in Honolulu for 5 years between 1997 and 2002. During that time the ministry was involved in preaching the Gospel among the Korean, Philipino, and Indonesian communities in Honolulu. The ministry adopted and supported a school in the Philippines, and sponsored youth ministry on Oahu through retreats, revival meetings, and gospel concerts. 

The core beliefs of the ministry are the inspiration and authority of the Bible, salvation by faith in the person and finished work of Jesus alone, divine empowerment of believers through the Holy Spirit and the obligation of believers to pickup their cross and follow the Lord. 

There is only one true "Open Heaven", but there are many ministries that point to it and the person who reigns there. This ministry exists to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the New Testament. The ministry is open to anyone who is interested in furthering their understanding of the contents of scripture.
